We can't get any worse. That's the bright side to this. Expectations are ridiculously low with this team so I can only be pleasantly surprised by how this pick pans out and next season(s).

He should be able to play right away, but the Knicks HAVE to get a center to play with him. He's not ready to play if you're putting him on 5s, but he can get away with playing the 4 right now, Nerlens Noel was 226lbs for most of the season, you can play if you're skinny as shyt.

So if scouts all around the league are high on Porzingis it's ok, even though scouts have been way off plenty of times, but Fraschilla, who more than likely watches just as much film on this kid, is full of it? He was singing Prozingis's praise too, so which is it?

Why boo a 19 year old prospect that wants to play for your team? I just don't get it. So much of the reaction to this pick seems based on knee-jerk xenophobia and the idea that a rookie needs to immediately be a franchise player.
