That's honestly the only way I see it working out for the Knicks, trading him for some kind of package that gets you back a couple of solid young players. You're not winning a title with Melo, so I never got the whole "We're in win now mode!".
i been saying this the longest that the whole resigning melo was a bad move for both parties except melos bank account

:dead:

You'll care when they miss the playoffs again next year without a lottery pick to show for it.

Trade him now while he still has value, you gotta know when to move the fukk on from a player.
even worse that that melo is good enough to get us a 8 seed all by himself for the next 2-3 years in the weak ass east and also guranteed a 1st round exit at best winning only 2 games max

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Breh you sounding retarded right now :francis:

Nah, retarded is building around Melo.

Good luck with the patch work free agent signings, I'm sure Greg Monroe will be enough to overcome the Cavs, Heat and Bulls :dead:

First off :russ: at slipping that treadmill bulls team in with the cavs and Heat. The Bulls aint winning shyt either

Also Phil paid Melo a shyt ton of money and the knicks have no pick this year. Even if "future" was the plan its news to knicks fans since Phil's been talking about winning in his 5 year tenure as much as anything else. SAS wasn't lying if Phil wants to go futue he better act like it going forward in FA.

So, the Bulls are a treadmill team, yet the Knicks are what exactly?

The Knicks will be lucky if they make the playoffs, the East will be competitive next year, and there are young teams with more competent pieces than the Knicks. Also, Dolan paid Melo..........

This dude said you can win a title not only with Melo as your best player but simply role players around him will be enough :deadmanny:

Then bringing up defenders like Lebron being on Melos level defensively the same Lebron who can guard any position the same Lebron who guarded Tony Parker

He even pointed out Dirk, like Dirk isn't 7 feet tall and much easier to hide defensively....because he's 7 feet tall :russ:

I don't think they make the playoffs next year, and the blame will fall on Phil and the media will go after Porzingis instead of focusing on Melo.

Man Treadmill is a Treadmill you don't got Lebron coming in to save you. The knicks say they are moving Melo tomorrow they are getting competitive offers. Bulls got to let Noah and Rose expire and then they got money.

Which reminds me if the Future is the plan the knicks better go hard at some RFA not named Monroe.

And more efficient because of his height .What Dirk did offensively in the 2011 playoffs Melo nor most people can do.If fans are holding out hope Melo can win a title like Dirk did with that team good luck

We'll see what phil does in FA. If the future is the plan fine.

Trade Melo for a bunch of young studs.:manny:

They're going to get Greg Monroe, and what else? They have gaping holes all over the roster :yeshrug: Trading Melo would get them back quality young players to fill out the roster, open up caproom and give development time to Porzingis & Grant.

The problem is that Knicks fans only want the quick fix, it's why the team buys out Chauncey Billups to sign Tyson Chandler, without thinking about it and realizing they may need that amnesty provision for Amare.

The quick fix doesn't work, and Melo is 31, it's been time to face reality.

At first I disagreed because I think teams like the Nets Celtics and Raptors could easily fall out but then realized the Pacers and Heat will make it so you're talking maybe one spot open
