I like the Hardaway/Grant trade, pg had me worried this offseason since there was no real good options out there, and now the team has a kid who can start and contribute right away. He's not turnover prone, and he's big, so he can see over defenses. As for Hardaway, I think he's gonna do well in ATL. I know he was garbage here, but with the team being the way it was, it's understandable to me. I just think he's too offensively talented not to flourish in Bud's system; Dunno if he can hide him defensively though, since he's beyond bad on that side of the Ball.

At some point the Knicks leadership is gonna have to say fukk the fans and just tank as much as they can for a few years. Get a bunch of lottery picks and rebuild. You can't rely on free agency and landing a superstar for the quick fix.

This is partially the New York markets fault. Don't want to wait for shyt.

If Hinkie turns the Sixers into title contenders, I can see the Knicks being open for a true rebuild 8 years from now.

no way in hell does porzingis start off the bat it would probably get killed him against the stronger bigs. we need a second and possibly a third option that could take pressure off of melo so if teams double up he can just pass to the next option. jordan's offense and free throw liability would keep me from paying him anything near max

I was listening to Rusillo and Ford on a podcast about the draft and they said they loved Zingis but are scared we won't play him enough. They feel like he's gonna need 25-30 mins a game even if he's terrible, just to get the reps and aren't sure if NY will let him do that. Brought up how different Darkos career could have been had he gone to Denver and got to work it out like Dirk did in Dallas instead of riding the bench in Detroit.

Middleton, Monroe and West are gonna cost well over 30. Which means Calderon has to be dealt and we won't have money to sign a pg. Grant and Galloway will have to share those duties. Which means we probably bring back Schved to back up Middleton. But I really like that squad.
