Honestly your right...As a Knicks fan would you want them to do a real blow it up rebuild from the top to bottom...Or would you rather have them make a trade of a young prospect for an established talent sign a couple of free agents in 2015 becoming a more attractive team in 2016 free agency and be a second rd playoff team.
He needs to play and he will make mistakes
Will that be okay with knick fans? Will that be okay with Carmelo?
Plus they aren't exactly motivated to tank because they don't even have their first rounder
Well We Know He Ain't Grabbing No 10 Rebounds, All He Has To Do Is Play Hard And People Will Warm Up To Him, Give Us 10-15 Points And Show Flashes Of What He Can Be Every Now And Then.
We Had Mad Love For Mozgov And That's Exactly What He Did, Played Hard. Not Exactly The Same Situation But You Get What I'm Saying
Exactly they can't even legit tank...And I know the owner wants those playoff funds also...And most importantly the fans will show up to watch them play no matter if they win or lose so what's the direction they are committed to....I don't believe you can do both (Rebuild/Compete) However ai do believe you can reload problem is they only have 2 assets (Melo/Cap Space).

I don't think they really have a "ton" due to the fact Melo makes so much and I could be tripping he doesn't seem to have that "ability" to get the other stars to want to go to NYK and play with him...any good player who wants to do more off the court should strive to get there but it's pros/cons having to deal with the Media...Plus the reason they have so much cap space is because they don't hardly have any players signed...I think only Melo, Grant, Porzingis, Calderon, Galloway, Freaks bro, and another SF can't think of his name are the only dudes they have signed.
I don't know Breh...I don't really think we are in a small ball era I see far too many bigs and it seems like every team who was a winner this last season had some semblance of post play from a big.....Plus I'm not familiar enough with the triangle because it needs certain types of players.

if idiot fans can cheer for bum ass iman for seasons and praise no defense tim, they can deal with this kid's development. i can't believe people really think that winslow or mudiay would've made us a playoff team but porzgawd is going be the reason we miss them
