Massive wingspan and standing reach to make up for it though. He's a young, great defender who'll probably get signed for cheap, and will end up being a bargain for someone.

He could probably be got for 4 mil a year. His QA was 5. For an off the bench defensive big thats a great contract.

Hey brehs I just read that Monta Ellis opted out :patrice: what sayeth my Knick brethren, could he be an option for us :lupe: I think he could bring some razzle dazzle to the Garden :ahh:

I think Monta could work if he cut down his threes, how's his defense?

No it wouldn't

Marc would just dominate small tms

Then go up vs a cle chi wash and be limited on offense

Hes overrated dont know why some of you think hes a franchise changing player

:rufio:fukk are you talking about? Marc Gasol is one of the best two-way bigs in the NBA. And he averaged 20 points per game against those teams this season. and did 20/10/5 against the Warriors and the Blazers in the playoffs.

Why cant Jordan fit in the triangle? He'd be here to defend and score easy buckets....if anything he's definitely a fit because you cant have Melo on the floor without help defensively.

But since he's most likely staying in LA, Brandan Wright would be the cheaper alternative to play that role.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
He's 6'9". :francis:

He's one of the best young interior defenders in the league, you could pair him with Porzingis.

These are the type of players the Knicks should be looking for, young guys that could be bargains. Bismack's problem isn't that he's 6'9" it's that he's pretty bad on offense, and the Hornets couldn't play him because of their lack of shooting and Al Jefferson needing space in the post.

Former lottery pick that could be an elite interior presence, and pull down 10-12rpg to go along with 2bpg.

Brandan Wright would be the guy at a low cost to be that rim protector....Porzingis will be better off on the weak side.
