ALL DUE RESPECT IT WAS KYRIE WITH THE CLUTCH SCORING THAT HELPED PUSH CLEVELAND OVER THE EDGE IN LAST YEAR'S FINALS.

THEY DID IT ON THE BACK OF LEBRON BUT THAT ALONE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ENOUGH. KYRIE HAD TO CLOSE IT OUT.

THAT'S NOT TO SAY WE SHOULDN'T RESPECT LEBRON'S RING, BUT IF WE ARE TO COMPARE HIM TO JORDAN... A GUY THAT WON 6 RINGS IN 6 FINALS... YOU HAVE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THESE THINGS. OF COURSE THE BULLS WERE AN ALL AROUND GREAT TEAM BUT THEY LIVED AND DIED WITH WHAT MJ DID.
I think Kyrie played a great Finals as good as a Robin can play offensively. But, LeBron's contributions in the clutch is not to be dismissed. It's annoying, yeah Kyrie had the gamewinning shot but LeBron had the most clutch defensive play of All-Time and was the leading scorer of that 4Q, also iced the game at the line. Kyrie was great but LeBron led the Finals in every major statistical category and had much bigger contributions on the defensive end than Kyrie. He was undoubtedly MVP.

My point is that LeBron plays under different expectations than the rest of the legends. If LeBron put up 15 points a game, had an 8 point game, shot 42% and had a teammate win Finals MVP like Bird, we would not hear the end of it.

And Bird did this against possibly one of the top 5 worst teams to make the Finals, LeBron hasn't faced a single weak Finals opponent and is set to go against arguably the most talented roster ever assembled.

WE ARE NOT CRITICIZING LEBRON IN THE SENSE THAT WE DO NOT RESPECT HIS WORK.

HE GETS TORN APART BECAUSE HE'S BEING COMPARED TO JORDAN WHICH IS THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARD AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE ROOM FOR ERROR.

Pierce and McGrady retire and now they holier than thou, experts that dikkride the past

Foh these nikkas was little KIDS when Bird and Magic were in their prime probably not even cognitive.

When y'all was in the league LeBron was giving y'all mothafukkas buckets. It wasn't long ago y'all nikkas remember

Remember T-Mac when an 18 year old Bron put up 34 points and 6 assists on your squad X-Mas 2003, at EIGHTEEN when you was that age you was riding pine in Toronto

Remember Pierce all them 40 point games LeBron had on you, when he locked you up, the duels y'all had, when he flattoped you and your whole squad in 2012 :flabbynsick:. LeBron in the 2010's and KG's injury in '09 is the reason those great Celtics teams ain't a dynasty.

 these nikkas kill me man foh :pachaha:

Mac didn't have the mentality to last, he was a more talented Vince but he was never gonna be what Kobe would become. That's why the argument was fukkin stupid to begin with. Mac was definitely Kobe's greatest individual rival but he went through too much fukked up shyt in his life to really dedicate himself to basketball the way Kobe did. To me that's a big reason why injuries took him out. Too many "ifs" with Mac yeah that's nice but Kobe actually did shyt out here.
Mac had injuries and played on trash ass rosters that's what separates them. I really wish Mac stayed with Vince.

Cousins beefing over shots :hhh:

They could have been the most dominant wing tandem post Jordan/Pippen, pre Wade/LeBron.

Also Kobe had legendary work ethic while T-Mac was an idiot savant talent that would rather sleep than practice

The scary thing is that once Bron loses some of his athleticism he can become Magic-like running the point

If LeBron decided to not average 25+ and be a facilitator full time he could easily put up 20-23 points, 8 boards, 10-12 assists real talk, basically Magic numbers. Also with less shots he's shooting 55-58% and basically only shooting in the paint or from three, with some post play in between.

The thought of a washed Bron putting up prime Magic type numbers is spooky :merchant:

I think LeBron matures into that or gains some bulk and becomes a small ball PF with prime Odom type numbers

Him and Vince definitely would've been amazing together. But truthfully, the Spurs should've got Mac to cancel out Kobe rather than Mac/Duncan/Grant go to Orlando. He would've been in the right environment to excel as a player, Manu off the bench would've gave him ample rest to preserve his fragile body, and playing off Duncan would've optimized his offensive game. Would've been dope to see Kobe/Mac as a wing tandem had Shaq never been in LA. Being in a better environment would've helped Mac but even then we don't know. I can only go by what happened, Kobe surpassed him and became the better player. Mac/Vince is to Kobe what Grant Hill/Penny was to Jordan basically.

Magic won a title as a rookie and I can guarantee he wouldn't have been scared to post up JJ fukkin Barrea
Know your history before you speak goofy

Magic averaged 17 points on 38% shooting and choked losing to a 40-42 team in the FIRST ROUND. WAY worse than 2011.

Looks like he was afraid to post up Houston's guards at 6'9, Calvin Murphy (5'9), Tom Henderson (6'3), Mike Dunleavy (6'3), Alvin Leavell (6'1).

"Johnson seemed hesitant and ineffective, far from the confident and joyous youth who took apart Philadelphia as a center last year when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was injured in the championship series."
-quote from NY Times

"Johnson turned in a dreadful performance, making two of 14 fieldgoal attempts and six of 11 foul shots, including two missed free throws with 30 seconds left that would have greatly affected the outcome. Fifteen seconds later, Mike Dunleavy hit a 15-foot jump shot that gave the Rockets the lead for good."

Magic also took possibly the worst game tying shot attempt of All-Time a pathetic leaner air ball and divided the locker room by claiming his teammates were jealous of him.

Facts :mjlol:
