Drummond is DEFINITELY being shopped. The "young core" the Pistons have is flawed and honestly I don't see much upside. Reggie is who he is...KCP will always be a streaky 3 and D guy who struggles to create his own offense because he can't dribble. Stanley is a tweener who isn't skilled enough to be dynamic offensively and isn't big and athletic enough to be dominant on the other end. Drummond has absolutely zero feel for the defensive end...anticipating and rotating...he's an outstanding rebounding big with serious flaws in his game at both ends.

Yea and Pistons need a big change for next year going into the new downtown arena. Somebody is getting traded

Probably Reggie Jackson

Drummond defensive issues are the result of mental lapses, nothing else. I've seen him completely dominate other top bigs defensively. I'd take someone who lacks on defense because of effort than someone like Horford or JV who will always have physical limitations no matter how hard they try. Drummond was among the best defensive players in the NBA his first couple seasons. Unlike Chicago, we aren't starting a 35 year old so even though guys like Tobias and Morris aren't going necessarily improve, they'll be what they are and gives us flexibility to make moves. Andre Drummond is 23 with 4 years left on his deal, there's no logical sense to have him on the block

Please just fire Stan Van gundy before he sinks this ship into the ground. He's done absolutely nothing substantial since becoming GM. stop giving these coaches power. they are clueless when it comes to being a gm
nikka him getting rid of josh smith was one of the best gm moves of the past five years where are you from

He got Tobias for a washed Jennings, Morris for a second rounder, Leuer & Baynes been fine signings. He's sure as hell better than Joe. Drafting is up in the air

Lakers fired Kupchak today. Think he's going "I signed Shaq in 96!" Joe did well assessing talent he played with and against. After that he was horrible. Think of the timeline

The time has nothing to do with it. You said Stan van gundy is Better than Joe and that's nowhere near the truth.

Better than joe was the day joe got fired. Hence an upgrade. Would be irrelevant of me to compare him to Joe circa 15 years ago. I'm comparing him to Joe the day he replaced him.

The best young prospects we have are KCP and Drummond....both talents that he "assessed" and selected.
