Pitchers can celebrate after a big strikeout, but batters have to act like they're in a library?

But why? Nobody stops you from fist pumping and yelling when you get that big strikeout. Why retaliate because things didn't go your way and the batter is loving his moment?

I don't believe in doing that shyt either. K-Rod used to piss me off with his save celebration. Way over the top. I don't mind a little fist pump or show of emotion, but there's a point when it gets excessive - the same as a batter can get excessive with a HR celebration.

u still didn't answer why celebrating a home run would give you the right to aim at a batters head

It doesn't happen that often. The celebrations for a big RBI and a big strikeout aren't that different.

And if you have to ask why people retaliate after suffering a bruised ego, then you have never had one.
When has a batter done some shyt like this

Only sensitive ass bytches get bruised egos when playing sports. If you can't accept that at some point, you will get beat, you shouldn't be playing. And pitchers celebrating happens often enough.

So why would you feel the need to retaliate if a batter hit a HR off of you?

Sensitive bytches play in every sport. Some of them happen to be really good too.

Perhaps they are good. But thats too bad if they can't take someone celebrating off of beating them. We see it in basketball and football all the time. What makes baseball different and why are you as a fan, accepting of it?

:why: Geez, are you even paying attention ... THE ONLY TIME I CAN SEE A PITCHER RETALIATING IS IF IT'S EXCESSIVE.

I ALSO THINK A PITCHER CAN CELEBRATE EXCESSIVELY AND BE EQUALLY ANNOYING.

I'M NOT CONDONING EITHER ONE.

Yes,I'm paying attention, but why then would it be ok for you to fist pump, hop and yell?

I'm not accepting of it. I don't mind the celebrations. The WBC was awesome because the players threw that shyt outta the window. The Dominican team showed EVERYONE up. I didn't mind. When they got scored on they were ready for it too. Baseball like any sport is an emotional game. Some cultures choose to express it publicly. Others don't, and some just don't like it. Over time, I think some celebrations won't be met with the same anger. Some still will, but now guys are more willing to show emotion during games compared to the past
