I'm more concerned by the fact air traffic controllers are not getting paid. I'm gladly not flying anytime soon. The job is already stressful, but not getting paid on top of that and these people are responsible for you not dying. I'm cool on flying while this shyt is happening. :hubie::hubie:

Anyways I believe Trump gets his 5 billion in exchange for something if not just to end the shutdown since people's actually lives are being played with and Democrats are more sympathetic to that than Trump or Republicans.

Dems may fold but something about Trump and that presser he did yesterday with turtle there. Saying they're all unified. But something seemed off about it, something not quite right. :jbhmm:

Trump is bluffing.

Dems may fold before Trump does and that's what he's counting on. Trump can't lose the economy because that's all he has.

I think the republicans force McConnell to fold and after it becomes a law Trump calls a national emergency to get a wall. He won't get it cause its not going to hold up in court, but he can then blame the Dems, Judges, and moderate Republicans for losing

Dems can't fold cause they just got in. It would ruin them

"Only Trump can fix the issues." This shutdown is an indictment on his leadership and negotiating skills.

Then after it's over he either immediately goes back into shutdown threats after the CR ends or trying to explain why his trade war with China is working.

Oh and there's that big issue of ratifying the new NAFTA.
