But anyways, Uncharted 2 was only 4.5gb, then the rest of it was sound in other languages. MGS4 was supposed to be 50gb, but 40+gb was used for 1080p cutscenes which was the majority of the game, and the 7.1 surround sound. The actual game? less than half a DVD9 (Tru Story)

i still think its too soon....and not making every thing backwards compatible nowadays is absolutely asinine for at least another gen. Most peoples internet connections aren't strong enough to be downloading current-gen games in a reasonable amount of time. Let alone the ones coming down the line.

Thats what the extra space is used for. 1080p cutscenes are not needed this gen because 99% of games this gen use the in-game graphics to create the cut-scenes aka no need for data wasting VIDEO
The ONLY games to benefit from blu-ray was FF13 and MGS4
FF13 is still on XBox360, and the cutscenes are only 720p instead of 1080p
You don't need an entirely new medium for that

I'm still waiting on one of you fools to enlighten us about the negatives of GDDR5

Because multiplats will be dumbed down like they did this gen to make them look the same even though they could maximize one over the other. I hate that shyt....but 1st party games will shine and will EASILY be in the PS4 favor with that DDR5.
