:snoop: Breh.....stop it.

I haven't prayed or gone to church on my own in years. I'm not really religious at all. But I'm not about to shyt on people who turn to prayer in a time like this.

For some people, prayer/religion is pretty much all they have; to deal with certain periods in their life, or even deal with their life, period. People out there who are poor, starving, or suffering in some way; all they have to keep their spirits up enough to face another dreadful day, is religion, prayer and hope. A belief that things are going to get better, if not in this life, then in the next one.

It's a lot easier to be a sarcastic about shyt like that when you live in a first world country, you have a job, don't have to worry about where your next meal is coming from and haven't personally experienced any really difficult times, like having a family member brutally murdered. Let these people find comfort and understanding the way they choose. Let then converse with the man upstairs, in an effort to ease their suffering and to come to terms with their situation. Let them believe in heaven, so they can feel that their loved one still exists in some form, and that they can meet them again someday. If they want to believe that 'everything happens for a reason' or 'God works in mysterious ways', then let them. It's a hell of a lot better than saying "My child is gone, and the man who killed him is dead. I'll never see my child again because heaven doesn't exist, and the killer won't suffer because he murked himself and hell don't exist either....oh well, life goes on :yeshrug:"

:salute: Dis be the realest shyt he ever wrote......

Heard about the shooting this morning, at the time they said 1 child and a faculty member was dead, which is pretty bad in itself.

I get home a couple of hours later and heard it was 20 kids?? :snoop:

What really is sad is that this year numerous adults lost their lives due to senseless violence like this and people didnt give 2 shyts. Now that its kids the world has come to a stand still and everyone is talking about it.

nikkas really in here acting like we don't need gun control :heh:

I know...my boy at work was trying to argue hard for guns with little to no regulations on them and this white chic was going in on his argument.

Him: If someone comes in here with a gun and start shooting. I'm blastin :violent:

Her: :usure: You have such a false sense of security. If thats the case, where is your gun?

Him: In my truck :sadcam:

Her: So you would be dead, right? :queen:

Him: :dwillhuh:

Me:

Having the most total murders and being labeled the murder capital are two entirely different things, NYC's murders per capita was lower than every other city on that list.

I think these numbers are a bit skewed to be honest. How many of these so-called "black" victims are black latinos. I'm sure a coroner who gets to a dead body and sees a manny, ortiz or carmelo looking dude would just simply classify them as black. I'm not justifying violence, just sayin :manny:

i really think we need to ban guns. too many lives are being ended early because of it. yea, people want guns for protection and hunting. but how many people are actually using it for these reasons? i would feel safer if guns were just banned completely.

Eh. In due time, people will learn why we all need guns! It just hasn't gotten to that point yet. I said long ago that all schools should have cops there and the movies too. Both incidents have already occured now but I said this way back when. I realize that america (well, societies in general) wait for the worst to happen and then act. For whatever reason (other than monetary), I don't know but we should be proactive in preventing tragedies like this. Banning guns will not do so. There are WAY WAY WAY too many on the market and a ban would only force us all who have them to go underground (like many already do) to get them. They already pretty much have caps on automatic weapons but the shooter allegedly only used pistols. The assault weapons ban would be useless in this case. His AR was left in his car..

Right To Own Handheld Device That Shoots Deadly Metal Pellets At High Speed Worth All Of This | The Onion - America's Finest News Source
NEWTOWN, CT—Following today’s mass shooting that left 20 young children dead at a Connecticut elementary school, numerous sources across the country reported that their government-protected right to own a portable device that propels small masses of metal through the air at lethal rates of speed is completely worth any such consequences. “It’s my God-given right and a founding principle of this country that I be able to own a [piece of metal that launches other smaller pieces of metal great distances, one after the other], and if a few deaths here and there is the price we have to pay for that freedom, then so be it,” said Lawrence Crane of nearby Danbury, CT, who is such a staunch advocate of the portable deadly-pellet-flinging apparatuses that he keeps multiple versions of such mechanisms in his home, often carries one with him, and is a member of a club whose sole purpose is to celebrate these assembled steel things and the small bits of metal they send flying. “Sure, it’s sad that a few kids died, but it’s far better than the tyranny that would result if the government came and took away all our [mechanical contraptions that make a lot of little pointy chunks of metal go through the air fast]. Can you even imagine what kind of horrible world that would be?” The man added that if the events that unfolded today led lawmakers to question his ability to possess any such items of steel and lead, authorities would have to “pry the [wholly inanimate mechanical object, nothing more, nothing less] from [his] dead hands.”
