Did I just read a post saying "Riot" by 2 Chainz could have been a political anthem? :laff:

his downfall was when he tried to gear his music towards the ladies as if women were checking for him to begin with. :laff:

Are you sure it has nothing to do with him not banging out as dope hits as he once did and that his latest album was by far his weakest? Times changing and him not being flexible enough to reinvent himself?

i remember that plies/jamie foxx joint being on 106th & park. i dont know how much they played it cuz i was done with videos by then. but i know they played the hell out of it on the radio.

anywhoot, i rocked with plies 1st 2 or 3 joints but lol. you dudes actually thought plies was a real goon? i knew from jump that he was pump-fakin'. it was blatantly obvious.

as far as his career, he had his time. he fell off because his quality went down. he didnt crossover to middle-america, so atlantic(who didnt get along with him anyway) felt no need to continue forcing him on the public like they did with T.I. for years after he fell off.

its that simple. a rappers run as a marquee act usually spans about 3 albums or 3 to 5 years at best. most of the rappers that linger around longer, 9 times out of 10 are beneficiaries of label & industry politics, or are hanging on via sellout music.

Yep. Once I heard Becky and Medicine, I KNEW it was over for em :to:

He can make a song and has a hella ear for beats. His first three albums were :lawd:

yea, i knew it was over right then and there too.

rosses music is respected but he himself is not

not like gucci, or ti, or pimp c, trick daddy, etc., all who embody what they rap

scarface prime example. never hid his intelligence

lol @ pimp c.

since when was pimp c real?

pimp c was a legend down south, blazed his own trail with bun b, rapped about stuff the everyday brother and sister down south could relate to, and never forgot where he came from nor the people still there. plus he played a gang of instruments and made a lot of old UGK beats

not everybody has 2 parents, seriously try asking some young black kids who their heros and role models are.

learn something about propaganda and psychology. you dont even realize people have been planning on programming your every action before you were even born.

Edward L. Bernays - New World Encyclopedia

"In the 1890s, when gender role reversals could be caricaturized, the idea of an aggressive woman who also smoked was considered laughable. In 1929, Edward Bernays proved otherwise when he convinced women to smoke in public during an Easter parade in Manhattan as a show of defiance against male domination. The demonstrators were not aware that a tobacco company was behind the publicity stunt."

Females...always the first to bite down hard on the propaganda

So gullible:demonic:
