If this wasn't Gilligan's show I would've checked out. I'll probably give the first episode of the next season a shot.

And the comparisons to Breaking Bad really don't work. Rewatching now because my wife didn't watch Better Call Saul and while it wasn't as crazy as later seasons, the first season you still had Krazy 8 and Tuco.

Vince stans are pretending BB was slow in order to justify Pluribus dry ass pacing . Season 1 we saw Walter go from emasculated teacher to Heisenberg in under 6 episodes.

This show is ass and the main character is unbearable. I only gave it a chance because of the creator but this is a huge miss.

I'm at the last episode and if I was Manousos, after making this trip, getting the message from Carol, only to have her go back on everything because she's feeling emotional? Bruh, most of this episode is Carol going on dates.

Yes, they discovered a new (?) way to convert the remaining humans...AND????

I feel this is one of those series where they want it to be more complicated than it needs to be.

I actually stopped watching Better Call Saul when it premiered after the first few episodes because of how slow it was. Didn't come back till season 4 lol

I also didn't like the idea of the show being about Saul or a prequel but that all worked out

watched the first season of BCS and never returned. everyone told me i was missing out, but i genuinely didn't give a shyt about anything about that show. don't even remember if Breaking Bad was fukkin boring in season 1, but it doesn't matter b/c it was a different time and there wasn't 4,000 other shows running at the same time. there's too much shyt now to hang with something that isn't very compelling.

honestly think i'm done with this one too. i'm just not intrigued about any potential outcome of this story. if it gets crazy i'll find out and watch... when it comes out in 2029

Another thing about BB/BCS and shyt is we didnt just follow WW/Jimmy around we had several other characters to get to know and shyt. This shyt is Carol only 90% of the time interacting with the hivemind. shyt wouldve been a lot easier for me if they would shown the other survivors interactions interlaced with Carol's shyt the whole time. Even the shyt with Diabete was in service of Carol about to show up. Something to break up the boring shyt with Carol.

maybe they'll swerve and actually make it kinda fun in season 2. they start to wake people, but the people wake as murderous maniacs! then the hive has to decide how to deal with Manuous continuing to send crazies out to get Carol, random hive members bc he thinks he's on the virge of doing it properly! ohhhh baby, now we're talking!
