I like this show. It's interesting to me to see people either love it or hate it. There's no in between

finale needed a real "holy shyt" moment. what am i supposed to care about moving forward? unlikeable Carol teaming with Manusous to revive the hive through their language barrier?
ok. that seems pretty boring. would legit rather just watch the other dude live it up.
show needed more holy shyt moments in general. it's not "dumbing it down" by having a little action and twists. the craziest thing beside the pilot incitiing incident was finding out they "eat people," in that cliffhanger, then in the next episode we got some boring ass, pretty logical reasoning and it was just like, "ah, ok. they still don't actually seem like an evil race or whatever." oh no, they wanna turn Carol! i love Carol! don't do that to Carol! she has a bomb now for some reason!

If this wasn't Gilligan's show I would've checked out. I'll probably give the first episode of the next season a shot.
And the comparisons to Breaking Bad really don't work. Rewatching now because my wife didn't watch Better Call Saul and while it wasn't as crazy as later seasons, the first season you still had Krazy 8 and Tuco.

If it wasnt a Gilligan show, this wouldnt be getting the love it's getting. Or people turning a blind eye to some of it's issues
