ATLANTA - Police said that two men are dead after a shooting inside a southwest Atlanta recording studio.
The shooting happened a recording studio inside The Metropolitan along Metropolitan Parkway near Bronner Brothers Way. Police received a 911 call shortly after 8:20 p.m. Officers found the bodies of two men with multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators said they are having a hard time processing the scene because one of the bullets pierced water pipes, breaking them open and flooding the studio.
Police could not immediately release the identity of the two men, but they did believe they were in their 20s. Investigators said they do not know what prompted the shooting.
Several people at the scene were detained for questioning, but police have not officially arrested anyone. Investigators said they also found several guns which may have been used in the shooting.
The complex where the shooting happened is a mix of recording studios, hair salons, and other small businesses.
