"Corporations are people" is a tax classificstoon /legal fiction. I dont why people continue to say this.
A legal fiction that the entire socioeconomic order is premised upon

an individual's right to health care always supercedes a corporations right to profit...A private health insurance company should have the right to refuse coverage though. Forcing them to accept everyone is ridiculous. Applying for health insurance if you already have a serious health condition is like applying for car insurance after you've already gotten into an accident and filing a claim.
It's the cost of healthcare that needs to come down, but hospitals are expensive to maintain.

the supreme court ruled 5-4 that Corporations are protected under Freedom of speech and therefore allowed unlimited donations to politicians. citizen's united
what im saying is corporations being considered persons is not a tax classification or legal jargonIts not politicians, it's non profits...in the case your citing it allowed donations to super pacs (who are not allowed to coordinate with political campaigns) and I dont agree with it.
Oh you have a RIGHT to healthcare now. Well forgive me.an individual's right to health care always supercedes a corporations right to profit...
worrying about the profit margins of a trillion dollar industry while people are going bankrupt over things outside of their control? wtf?
Why do you believe a private corporation's right to profits is more important than an individual's right to healthcare?Oh you have a RIGHT to healthcare now. Well forgive me.
I'm all for finding a way to make healthcare more affordable but sorry I don't believe individuals have the right to healthcare. Nor do I believe a private insurance company should be mandated to cover anyone the government tells them to.
Who said a company has a right to profit? Why do you believe a private corporation's right to profits is more important than an individual's right to healthcare?
False.free market forbids a monopoly.
and lets leave the free market out of this.So you believe a company has a right to decide who they offer their service to.. hmm okWho said a company has a right to profit?
I said a company has a right to decide who they offer their service to. If they can't operate at a profit that's on them.
Why do you believe a private corporation's right to profits is more important than an individual's right to healthcare?
A health insurance company isn't allowed to discriminate on gender or ethnicity. So you believe a company has a right to decide who they offer their service to.. hmm ok
so if a company refused to offer their services ONLY to black people you'd be fine with that?
