A private health insurance company should have the right to refuse coverage though. Forcing them to accept everyone is ridiculous. Applying for health insurance if you already have a serious health condition is like applying for car insurance after you've already gotten into an accident and filing a claim.

It's the cost of healthcare that needs to come down, but hospitals are expensive to maintain.
an individual's right to health care always supercedes a corporations right to profit...

worrying about the profit margins of a trillion dollar industry while people are going bankrupt over things outside of their control? wtf?

no

the supreme court ruled 5-4 that Corporations are protected under Freedom of speech and used the freedom of speech to justify allowing corporations unlimited donations to politicians. citizen's united vs fec

Its not politicians, it's non profits...in the case your citing it allowed donations to super pacs (who are not allowed to coordinate with political campaigns) and I dont agree with it.

what im saying is corporations being considered persons is not a tax classification or legal jargon

they are literally considered people so much so that the 1st amendment applies to them as much as it does to me or you.

Justice Kennedy's majority opinion[24] found that the BCRA §203 prohibition of all independent expenditures by corporations and unions violated the First Amendment's protection of free speech. The majority wrote, "If the First Amendment has any force, it prohibits Congress from fining or jailing citizens, or associations of citizens, for simply engaging in political speech.

Oh you have a RIGHT to healthcare now. Well forgive me.

I'm all for finding a way to make healthcare more affordable but sorry I don't believe individuals have the right to healthcare. Nor do I believe a private insurance company should be mandated to cover anyone the government tells them to.

Why do you believe a private corporation's right to profits is more important than an individual's right to healthcare?

Who said a company has a right to profit?

I said a company has a right to decide who they offer their service to. If they can't operate at a profit that's on them.

So you believe a company has a right to decide who they offer their service to.. hmm ok

so if a company refused to offer their services ONLY to black people you'd be fine with that?

A health insurance company isn't allowed to discriminate on gender or ethnicity.
