Ahmed Johnson might not have been technical but at his best he was explosive and looked legit, he could have been a champ. He was quite athletic for his size. Problem is WWE mostly can't book black wrestlers properly. A lot of average white wrestlers get pushed and black wrestlers that are better get left behind sometimes cause there's no booking. They left a lot of money on the table not pushing properly some of the dope black wrestlers.

If Sid could have been champ then I dont see why Ahmed Johnson couldnt, at least as a dominant heel for HBK to take down.

Ahmed was a mush-mouthed botch machine with zero charisma

Don't compare him to the swagged out MAN WHO RULES THE WORLD that is Sid

ahmed Johnson should've been the first.

as far as Shelton goes, you cant say its because he lacked charisma. the wwe done made multi-time champions out of white wrestlers with no charisma.

i'll say this tho. I think Shelton was in the wrong league. I never understood why hes still yet to go to TNA.

POLL: Should Shelton Benjamin Have Been The FIRST BLACK WWE Champion?

Should Shelton Benjamin Have Been A Main Eventer?

You're asking a different question in the thread title than in the actual poll question

Which is it you want an answer for?

During that time? :comeon:

Christian was light years ahead of him and couldn't even sniff the belt.

So expand on why he warranted a push rather than corny smileys and backhanded corny responses bruh. Shelton ducking Benjamin was over with the crowd and I'm making a false equivalency by saying his response was dictated solely on who he was going against. It maintained and people were looking at dude as next against opponents that were not hated like Triple H. Prove it. Why didn't it permeate beyond his opponents. Why wasn't he getting pops well after the fact when the crowd apparently chose him as next, even on a level like Zach Ryder. Explain it. Help me understand. I am more than open to hearing and being shown that I am wrong. Explain it.
lol at acting like it need some intricate explanation he was young had a good look one of the best hands on the roster and we know they needed new stars at that time. Only difference is wwe has a :mjpls: policy and he had a ceiling of the ic title if they decided to shove him down our throat like cena orton batista edge etc etc that got elevation in that era he could have been champ.
