I mean, there is no consensus and as a matter of fact I think most people are dumb, so when a chump like @mobbinfms starts talkin consensus I know he's a sheep. And we know how dumb sheep are. I mean, the mark said "100 certified hip hop heads" but he's too dumb to try and define what a certified hip hop head is. To him it means people that like illmatic. Personally, I could see a nikka like Steve Erwin the Crocodile hunter being a big illmatic fan considering one of the topics being large African safari cats and monkey rhythm, but to everyday nikkaz thats some weirdo shyt. So to me a certified hip hop head wouldnt really fukk with an album like that, and if you look at the #facts I seem to be on the correct side.

this is why u my brother from another mother i mean i dont' conform and neither do you because like who am i to tell somebody that illmatic is a classic if they don't think that is a classic is they opinion.

I don't think they do, I think it comes down to the credentials of those with the opinions. White supremacy was quite a popular concept, and still is even.

Oh I see man, I do agree there is room for personal preference, in regards to Illmatic it is certainly a certified classic no matter what anybody says, but they are allowed to feel that way. Personally I feel it's classic also, and one of my favourite Hip Hop albums, cause of the consistency, not one bad song, plenty great ones.
