This is pure fukking delusion. Caution with this post, Kanye Stanning levels may be unbearable to those who think K-Rino is a good rapper.
I need to address these line by line to show the good people the error of this opinion.
No he didn't, this doesn't sound anything like a failure.
He got an artist who would have ZERO to do with anything related to hip-hop and got him on a track that not only fit his vocal dynamic, but that he could spit over with lyrics of substance that GOT radio play.
By this logic, he would've fallen off, his career would petered out like Ja Rules after he released 808's & Heartbreak, a non-hip hop album but that only solodified his talent as a musician that he could and very well transcended hip-hop.
It's no where close to the classics of Graduation or Late Registration. But, again, look at what it essentially accomplished and set a new (albeit now watered down) standard for hip-hop. It's a fun, catchy, relate able album that people are drawn to that connects with those who don't even really mesh with hip-hop at all. It's not suppose to be super serious, but manages to be a meaningful album at the same time, and you can't name many albums of the 2000's like that.
In fact, he showed the mainstream and hip-hop, you don't have to rap about busting shots or scented oils to make a name for yourself in hip-hop. Look at dudes like Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Tyler The Creator, Childish Gambino, Raury and Drake. They are the product of Kanye West's impact on hip-hop.

Why are you so worried about what another dude is wearing? Shouldn't you be more concerned with what he is saying? Why does a person's image hold more weight to you than their message?
