porsche cayman is underrated.
This! I had the chance to drive a 2012 Cayman S. The handling, brakes, and gear box were phenomenal.
Still look for them used from time to time.porsche cayman is underrated.
Still look for them used from time to time.it's wild to me how porsche guys shyt on the cayman for not being a "real" 911 or even belittle it by calling it a boxster with a hardtop (even tho the boxster is still a proper sports car). This! it's even a better value performance wise than a carrera s ($100,000+ for 420 hp)
plus they got turbo kits for the cayman that you can put on and blow the doors of most 911"s![]()
word. i almost pulled the trigger on a 996 a long time ago because they were dirt cheap but then i read on all the issues they hadIt's that Porsche purist think. The cayman would be faster than the 911 if it had the same engine. The cayman is another one of those cars I would like to own but would hate to work on. The boxster is a great sports car as well. You can get them for cheap, but a cheap porsche leads to expensive maintenance. Look into the porsche ims bearing issues if you want to buy an early 2000's porsche.

I mean for the money, the Charger 392 is a waaaayyyyyyyy better performance value than the 328i. I'm surprised you don't like it with a performance skew. That Charger is as fast as an M3 for half the price. Now the interior is made of Tupperware, and you still have to option it up, but for the same money it's faster and much better equipped. I don't like the a la carte stuff. A luxury car should have luxury features. How do you charge $50K for a car without a rear view camera or leather seatsBmw's build sheet is like going to a high end steak house. Ala cart. I skew towards performance cars. So I like the performance of the 328. I had one for a day and enjoyed the performance but it had the leather package. Shame a car that expensive does not come with leather.
Can't fault the wife on the G80. She liked it but a CPO 535xi popped up and she jumped on it. Can't blame her. That car has skewed the way I look at cars and what I want out of a car. That is why I look at american cars and shake my head. The Charger 392 scat pack is awesome from a performance stand point but the ride and quality of the car sucks. Rather get a CPO BMW.
Plus these new BMWs don't drive like the old ones. The E90 and E60 were
The IMS thing is a little overblown. You get one either with a repair done or do the repair when you buy it and you're good. It's that Porsche purist think. U don't listen to current rap do you? That's the "it" car to brag aboutI swear I didnt know...![]()

I agree, I don't see the appeal in those uber luxo land barges when you can get a similar model that has most of what they have luxury wise and is a lot more fun to drive. I mainly see geezers in those full size German sedans around here. Give me an E43 amg over an S550 all day, not even factoring in that it's $25k less. As far as leasing I know a guy that buys a new German car witin 2-3 years at a time. This dude is a car salesman's dream, it boggles my brain why he doesn't just lease instead of trading in a new car every 2-3 years.I used to hate automatics.... but I don't mind them anymore.
BMW fell all the way off.... aside from the engine a $50K 3 series is a worse car than a $30K Accord EX-L. And the Mustang GT350/Camaro SS 1LE are better performance cars than the M3/M4
The whole 3 series segment is moving backwards and becoming very generic.
Over time, outside of the XT5 and Escalade, Cadillac will fail
The Hyundai Genesis/Genesis G80 has been the best luxury car in its price range since the 2012 refresh.
Cars like the S550, 7 series etc are irrelevant and for old men. Get a GLE coupe or X6, it's 2017 not 1997.
Money is scary cheap right now. If you're not financing/leasing, even if you have the money to pay cash, you're doing yourself a disservice.
Agree with most of this except the turbo sounding better than a supercharger. That supercharger whine is justmedium horsepower cars are more fun to drive than high horsepower cars.
turbocharged cars sound better than supercharged cars.
drag racing is boring.
rat rods are ugly
roll cages in street cars is stupid.
maseratis are straightand the only reason people praise them is because they're Italian and are affiliated with ferrari.

Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers are all trash cars that wanna be ballers buy![]()
