The show really does need her as one of the strongest characters.
My guess is that Unique does a driveby on the house and that's the shot that we hear. Nobody dies but Kanan gets hit, and Raq plays a part in saving his life. Family reunited in the business again and they spend the rest of the season warring with Snap/Pop & Unique.
If next season is the last, it shouldn't have the same stupid storyline that Power wrapped up with.

True but I think they want us to see the parallels between Tariq and Kanan.
Both grew up with VERY intelligent but dismissive parents (Ghost & Raq).
Both were book smart and didn't need the streets, but jumped in anyway despite being told not to.
Both wanna blame their hated parent for everything, even in situations where it doesn't make sense.
Both are killers but not nearly as good at it as their parents were.
Both liked to use "unique" methods for delivering product to customers (the speed bike delivery system for Kanan and CourseCorrect for Riq).
Both had a nice bit of $$$ to fall back on but lost the money because of a person that ended up dead. Riq had his trust fund but Ghost set that shyt up so Riq got nothing if he fukked up. Kanan had his war chest at the storage spot but Ocee jacked him.
Both ended up being just like their parents. Kanan loves the life just like Raq. Tariq keeps pretending he hates the life like Ghost, but he loves that money. Riq got more connections because he comes from affluence, so he can make moves 1992 Kanan could never dream of.
