What’s yall cap situation looking like? I heard they gotta pay Beasley(because he on a player option) and they got to make a decision on Duren. Definitely need a rim protector. Need to bring the hometown kid home from the Suns.

Beasley on a 1 year 6 Million dollar deal. It was fun having him around last year but if he try to get to big for his britches on a contract he can beat it.

2 years 25mill total.

Man dude was literally Cades only Robin all season. Ivey wasn’t consistent. If yall lose that dude and don’t get a proper replacement or upgrade, you lost the offseason

Shooting is a premium in this league. Shooters get paid. Sending a bad message to Cade if you lose Beasley for nothing

No one thought they would be this good this year. Best expectation was Play-in
So successful season overall

But they need to get Cade a side kick. OG and the blitzing gave him too much trouble. Still not sure what Ivey ceiling is. He can play next to Cade buts he’s still not the ideal fit. Booker is the pipedream

Duren increased his trade value this postseason. Id package him and Holland for better starter at C or PF. Markanan would be perfect fit more realistic than Zion. Or maybe go after Myles Turner in FA because I don’t think pacers can afford to keep him
JI is the robin/side kick. Just sucks he didn’t get a chance to test it out in the playoffs.

Then why didn’t nobody offer Beasley more than the league minimum last offseason. He shot 40% last year. He’s a role player.

Ive got a nagging suspicion if the Knicks win this series the Pistons owner will think we are a piece away and trade the farm for a stretch 4.

Pistons gonna be in good position next year :lupe:

Weak east will probably get weaker. No Tatum and Bos has to shed a lot of salary. No Giannis on Bucks. Heat about to reset. Knicks/Pacers/Cavs all very beatable and not many assets to improve their rosters. Orlando and Detroit in best positions to improve quickly

People really think Giannis would be ok playing for the Pistons? Players like that go to better markets than Detroit. The Pistons are the sort of team that either has to overpay for someone mid and or old, draft well, or find a diamond in the rough in free agency. Part of the reason Dumars is gone. He ran into the limitations of the team he was running and stated making desperate moves.

Giannis dont strike me as the type of guy that cares about no markets. He just wanna win.

Giannis doesn’t have a no trade clause. Bucks can send him wherever they want.

Why wouldn’t he then go to the Spurs? They have pick 2 and 14 in this draft and don’t need them. They have Fox, Paul, Wemby, Castle. It’s a better situation minus the fact they’re in the west. They’d probably have to give up Castle at least but still.
