shyt the word Egypt itself is frm Greek meaning black land....the Arabic word for egypt is msr or masir or misir...that itself come frm Hebrew mitzraim...meaning land of the two rivers or the two egypts (lower n upper Egypt)...

No Copt is a GREEK name. And no I'm not just speaking religion wise. Copts came about when Egypt was under the thumb of Greece and Rome. Coptic history does NOT go back that far in Egypt. And your comparison with Ethiopia is moot. Because the name Copt came about when Greece/Rome had control over Egypt and converted them.
