Blaxploitation is evident all over ROTM. Thats my type of sh*t, period! But i'm a fiend for any Mobb so im good ...

... AE much better huh. You guys getting me excited for this tho! I know, personal preference and all, but sh*t we all mobb fans in here

That Blood Money tho  you really are a mobb stan! That album was all types of trash in my opinion. In fact it made ROTM all the more hard hitting, following that watered down album!

yo from mobb stan to mobb stan, this sh!t might eventually be a top 5 Mobb Deep album for me. of course that will take time to definitively say that but based off the first few listens, its been a long time since i was feeling a mobb album this much after the first day.

blood money was betta than infamy and amerikkaz nightmare tho :yeshrug:

for real? I liked Infamy (minus that bullsh!t with 112 and Burn)...some of the beats were dope. I honestly cannot remember any songs from blood money and i deleted it from my ipod. All I remember is me thinking Lloyd banks had the best verse on the whole album and being disgusted. I might have to give it another chance. listened to it for a few months after buying it. never again since.

:deadmanny:

I can see an argument that it may be better than Infamy. But Amerikkaz Nightmare?

There are dope songs on Blood Money. Put em in their place, Pearly gates, The infamous, Capital P capital h, Stole something...

The bad joints on Blood Money just seem SO forced to me. Backstage pass, Give it to me, have a party...Phonte wrote the perfect article on what he didn't like about Blood Money.

Mobb Deep:"Got Rich And Stopped Trying" | Rappers Talk Hip Hop Beef & Old School Hip Hop | HipHop DX

Amerikka's Nightmare had some FIRE on there. Infamy I can't argue. It's better than the shyt it was getting poured on it back in 2011, but it's still arguably their worst effort. people were just shocked at P's change in style, so they said he fell off. But after 10+ years of hearing that flow it sounds better now going back to it.

Infamy had some hard ass beats too.

If you're saying top 5 it's gotta be spot #5 .

1. The Infamous
2. Hell on Earth
3. Murda Muzik
4. HNIC
5. ROTM/AI

I can see anyone rearranging the top 3 especially the top 2. But if AI is top 5, I think it's gotta be #5 , right?

AI off 2 days of an edited version shyts on Blood Money, HNIC 3, Infamy, Amerikka's Nightmare. Any of Hav's solo albums.

Amerikakaz nightmare was fire! That album was hard body to me, you must have been really feeling that trash blood money to say that. I think you need to give that album another spin, you may be pleasantly surprised. I dont co-sign that track feat lil jon tho, that track was terrible. I cant even remember the name of it and i dont wish to either!

Infamy wasn't so good granted, the whole album sounded off. Havoc wasn't on his A game and P was kinda sloppy on that album for me personally

But nothing from the mobb will ever be worse than blood money, that sh*t was trash for so many reasons.

C'mon breh...1-4 is set in stone. Not even worth debating. lol. Personally i would not include ROTM in the top 5 at all. that's just me. Its a great album and I love it but I liked product of the 80's much better. I prefer Prodigy more on grimey beats than soulful ones.

To be honest...Free Agents could have been stripped down to 10-12 tracks and been a classic Mobb Album. worthy of a top 5 mention, but too bad it wasn't.

also Einstein starts with an "E". :russ:
