I'm a bigger fan of Evidence when he's solo, and I used to skip his verses for Rakaa on their older albums. I didn't become an Ev fan until right before The Layover. Then I went back to Weatherman and caught up.

Genuine creative dude, and a very underrated beatmaker and executive producer. He's great at knowing his lane, and showcasing his strengths and hiding his weaknesses.

I'll give u that last part. dude is a decent producer. which is probably why I enjoyed the albums. im sure he knows he's limited on the mic, so that's why he chooses the right beats to spit on.

shyt is trashhhhhhhh real talk mobb is my fav group ever but its a wrap for pee he needs to hang it up and same goes for alchemist ..hes fallin off just as bad..the beats are garbage nothing is knockin ..only jawnts i liked were breeze n dough pildin..return of the mac was flames..what happened to the alc? he used to be 2nd coming of premo and had them street bangers.

Return of the Mac's theme was 70's soul samples. ALC has moved on a started chopping soul music and prog rock into some next level shyt.

All the "I wish ALC would go back to that late 90's sound" is the same flak RZA was getting when Forever dropped with sound that was too clean.

you know me breh, Im an ALC stan thru and thru and will be supporting this big time

edit: you know what, I re-listened real quick and those sound nice. LMDKV is exactly what I was missing from Al. Maybe its the lo-fidelity of these snippets that has me thinking the final beats will sound the same. Could be wrong there.

Defo want to hear more Scottie Pippens, Lullaby type bangers cause Im starting to get used to the obscure loops a bit too much
