The thing is there name was probably commonly misspelled. books probably had both spellings. It's probably more of a quality control issue
I think it had more to do how we were taught to pronounce certain words or names or our familiarity with the certain words ie. Einstein, Frankenstein, Berenstein.

shyt was always Berenstain, just goes to show how memories aren't always reliable.

"Stein" is more common in a last name than "Stain." Also stain is a word that kids may find uncomfortable. People probably wanted to pronounce it stein to avoid saying stain. It would be like meeting a Chinese guy named Phuk. You would probably call him fooook to avoid pronouncing his name as fukk.

I'm only 25 and I remember it as Berenstein as well and that's how I pronounced it. But I think it's more of a quality control thing.

I am only 16 and I also remember it as Berenstein but the videos show it changing well before I read those.

U from the U.S.? They said this mostly happened in outside countries
yup. From Michigan

I also forgot to mention that I went to Einstein Elementary so I know I've always pronounced that book title the same way, Berenstein.

this doesnt make sense, time does exist, if not plz tell me why we feel tired and need to sleep

You are looking at it wrong....time was created by us on a scale on how the earth moves and all that jazz....at the same time that a year = 1 revolution around that he sun, it could have easily been 2 revolutions around the sun that = a year.
Time is relative and in other places our sense of "time" don't mean shyt. Sense of "Time" is totally diffrent everywhere in that the universe. There are no laws that binds the theory of "time"

To answer you question, even if there was no created "time" scale, do you think you would still need to sleep? Us getting tired has nothing to do with time

i'm 21 and i remember it being berenstein as little as 15 years ago.

i never read the books though, i used to watch the tv series. And i searched for the theme song of the series. And the way they pronounce it does sound close to "berenstein". So maybe people have just been pronouncing it wrong this whole time?

That simpsons thing is weird too. Cuz the book in the simpsons is called "the berrystained bears" no the "berenstein bears" So where did that "berenstein" pic even come from?

And if this is real its obvioulsy not a quality control or regional issue. If it was there would be plenty of people with old "berenstEin" merchandise. But all the old stuff says stain now too
