im not gonna go as far as to question people's level of fanhood(or fandom whatever the word), but ya gotta understand why they feel that way. they catch shyt all season for losing n then they win and those same fans are mad they won. they dont give a shyt about the draft. all they see if jets fans mad at them for winning. that would piss me off as a player too.

People who think tanking involves players are stupid.Why would they purposely lose games to get a high pick who could possibly take their job?

Both very valid points. I can empathize with them. I really can. If I were in their shoes I'd be ready to at anyone saying I should lie down. I'm not taking anything away from them. I'm just saying that as a long time suffering fan of this snake bitten franchise, I saw yesterday's win as a Pyrrhic victory.

in the last few weeks ive given in and hoped we lost because jameis or mariotta might end up being franchise guys after all . but when i watch these games a piece of me still wants to win. next week against the fakkit ass patriots there is no way i root for a loss. i just cant do it.

The draft is how you win. If we lost some games that didn't matter last year we'd have a better player. Pryor needs to worry about playing better, he's been terrible.

My question is why the hell would they do that with the current head coach still on the team? Why not wait until Rex is actually gone? or why not just fire Rex since you've already decided he's not gonna be your head coach anymore?

Especially when you pulled this at the end of last year



Only to hedge your bets at the negotiation table with Rex's extension and come off looking like hypocrites.

To be fair anyone picking an NFL team to win 3 games is an idiot....the league isnt built like that anymore. 8 wins isnt much of an accomplishment.

What do you know, going into the final 2 weeks there are 6 teams with 3 or less wins

3 wins used to guarantee you a Top 3 pick. Of course that wouldn't be the case the year that we're bad and have 2 potential franchise QBs available to us

The Jets are totally screwed up. I have no idea why they didn't fire Rex after the first Bills game. If not then, I definitely would have fired him after the Dolphins game.
