they need to fire idzik. u dont go into a WR rich draft needing a WR and take the only 2 WRs drafted in the first 4 rounds to not play a single snap this season. granted 1 got hurt, but the other is so bad he actually got cut and hasnt been signed anywhere else as far as i know.

Well, they're going to lose some season ticket holders because long term plans of keeping Rex is what they sold those fans.

Most likely. It's not a good situation...but we need to find a QB. Until then, I probably wouldn't pay to watch this team either.

He was actually returning punts for the Saints the other night. Was waiting for a big return lol.

Yup. We had areas that needed to be addressed after last season and the biggest moves that were made did not make a significant difference. Chris Johnson has had his moments, but Powell & Ivory were fine. We needed WRs, OL help and DBs. Too much faith was put into the rookies from last year. I can't see how Woody didn't sign off the money saving/lack of talent team this year.

The plan all along was to not invest in any long term contracts to free agents and have Rex basically coach out his contract. We're in money save mode until we uncover a QB me thinks.

I can kinda rationalize tanking if you're flatout awful and decide that it's better to run out the season poorly and go for the draft pick. I can do that. Thing is, for many of our losses we were in the game versus better teams. Green Bay, Chicago, New England and even Denver were competitive showings. If we would have won those games (we would have with just a few more pieces) what would have happened then? Would Rex still be here? Would Idzik still be sabotaging the team?? I mean, I mean, like I said, I can make a case for tanking, sabotage, I can't.

I meant tanking in a sense that we weren't going to fill holes via FA. Like a DRC or Revis for example.

Being on the inside of what these guys are selling us has changed my perspective.

Good luck finding a coach that coaches both sides of the football. Rex gets alot of shyt for only knowing one side of the ball, but damn near every coach is like that.

That's why you hire coordinators to help you with that

Yes, however Rex has not been able to retain his good coaches. Pettine, Sutton, Westhoff etc. All moved on. I dont think Rex has the ability to put together a quality staff. He's got his drinking buddies as coordinators.
