So why did 3r fail at home?
It's not about playing with the other person. It's about being cutoff from the outside world, and the outside world cutoff from you. Some people don't even like to game with headphones on for this very reason. VR is a very restrictive/individual activity. That's fine for SOME people. But most people live with others.
And that's without even talking about all the cords, and setup involved, and the high price point.
VR is not for the masses.
We are a tech forum here, and I think only one person
@Ciggavelli has even preordered a VR unit at this point.
That should give you an indication of its mainstream appeal.
