Both of them would appreciate you being available if they called your name.

In reality being able to totally cut yourself from the outside world, and the outside world not caring that you are gone. Puts you in the minority.

Most of us can't do that.

No jumping around like has already been stated, I'd be in the basement with a floor in between anyway and my cell phone is always on me. Or they could just walk down the stairs, or would that be too inconvenient too? Not in the minority at all. Its the same as if I was playing a game without it. If you really need me you can tap my shoulder and I'll hit pause.

All I'm going to say is this, I have tried RIGS and EVE on PSVR and they are game changers VR is next Gen. Between the Vive and Rift, I found my time playing with those the Vive is the superior VR device. And for the dev saying PSVR is close to Vive and Rift, he's lying, even in his own statement the biggest caveat he gave was Vive and Rift are running at 90hz plus higher resolution and the PS4 conversion is 60hz and a lower resolution, that's not close.

The Vive is running at 90hz.

The resolution/60hz thing is not as simple as you're putting it. The pentile display can give good image quality despite it being lower resolution.

All in all, the vive will probably be the best with oculus behind and PSVR close behind. In raw power the PC headsets would be better but as far as experience I think most people(aka non PC snobs like some guys on here) would be fine with it.

I'm a VR fan and will be getting the PSVR, but I'm not delusional either.

Vive/Rift 1080p up to 1440p 90hz render/reprojection 90hz
PSVR 1080p 60hz render/rerpojection 120hz


Those are the min. specs for the best quality for these devices. That is not close in my mind, but the PSVR doesn't fall off a cliff either.

The PSVR supports 90hz. Idk why you keep saying 60hz only.
