Were funds from the infrastructure bill earmarked for puerto rico?
Sounds just like Haiti, but sometimes we wouldn’t have jackshyt for months. I remember first coming to America and was surprised that you guys had constant air conditioning. After Maria the gov sold the management of the electric grid to a private company that been jacking up costs like crazy (electric bills going up 80-100 dollars in just a few months) while the grid keeps deteriorating.
Even without hurricanes PR's grid has been garbage. Constant blackouts multiple times a week, multihour blackouts all the time. Just a few months ago the entire island lost power for 2-3 days, and last year there was another incident where everyone lost power for hours.
The storm wasnt even that bad in the northeast where most people live. Power grid is just a complete joke
i just realized...there's a 900 million dollar package ready to send to Ukraine...on top of 22 billion sent there for aid
meanwhile Mississippi and Puerto Rico don't have power and clean water
might as well just dissolve the US. the "U" part aint there no more
WHATMississippi is the poorest state in the union and receives more federal funds than it receives but also one of the most reliable to vote AGAINST federal funding for ANYTHING.

30 years shyt it's here we have arrived.stuff like this makes you fearful how the world will be in 30yrs weather wise
Puerto Ricans are tropical Mexicans
