It was a good first win. Everybody got a piece of the action and contributed and Harrison Smith starting that Defensive Player Of The Year campaign going.

I dont know X's and O's but the line created pressure and there always seemed to be defenders around pass catchers and after watching cover 2 defenses the last however many years, this was refreshing.

It's clear Norv is gonna be getting the ball in Pattersons hands in all types of way. It's nice to see some nuance with someone as good as he is. AD showed the burst and I thought he was gonna break a couple long ones so I'm looking forward to him carving up the Pats next week after Moreno and Miller combined for almost 200 yards. Cassell should hold the job all year barring injury and Jennings will get close to 1000 yards.

We're gonna need our LBs to play really good next week or we might get carved up by Gronk and Vereen.Their O-Line ddidn't protect Brady well so we gotta hit him early and rattle him, AD goes for 125 2td, Vikes win 27-16

How do y'all feel about the game this Sun? I think it is the perfect situation, but Shariff and Rhodes are hurt. Hopefully they play.

Our team is finally utilizing ALL of the talent that we have.

For example on third downs, Barr goes to DE and Gerald hodges( our second quickest Lb behind Barr) comes in the nickel to cover.

This is the stuff that Frazier and his staff just wasn't equipped to do, find innovative ways to use your talent. Now our best coverage LB isn't being wasted on the bench...

Back to the patriots though. We just need to control the LOS and limit mistakes. Offensively AD could go off, if not they will force Flash down the defense's throat. But I wholeheartedly believe AD/Asiata/McKinnon/Flash will will get chances to run the ball...

I feel like AD is not breaking as many tackles as usual. It was always automatic break first tackle in the open field. The CB(#21) for the Rams was standing up to him 1on 1 compared to two years ago when AD ran him over and made him cry in the car.

I hate to say it but dude might be starting the gradual fall...

This is the first time in the Brady/Belichick era where I'm not like, "Well, they're going to light us up like a pack of Kools." I'm actually fairly confident that the Vikes will pull out the W. Going against Brady will be a good test to see what this defense is made of. In the preseason and week 1, we weren't exactly facing illustrious offenses.

People have a very short memory when it comes to Ad. On every Vikings board, they say he may have lost a step, based on week 1. Could that be true? Sure.

But what brehs are forgetting is that AD has started this exact same way for the past 3 or 4 years before finding his stride. He doesn't get to play in preseason like everyone else and needs time to shake the rust off and get his timing and vision down. shyt, he didn't break 100 yards until week 4 the year he won the MVP. Be patient.
