It's sad our season is basically over before it started brehs. We needed AP to be able to win games without relying on Cassell but now that he's out, I think we gotta get Teddy in sooner than later. If this season is lost, we might as well get this Teddy experiment under way. All those interceptions aren't on Cassell but we know what he is and a game manager ain't gonna win any games when the guy our offense was centered around, is gone.
We'll see if Norv can get the offense going without a running game to open things up a bit. I just am gonna be watching to see how our young players develop and how Zimmer has the D playing. Last week wasn't on them. 7 points on a blocked FG, 7 points on an interception returned to the 1 and 2 other TO's that put the D in a bad position. We gotta get after Brees but it's their home opener and they are 0-2, I'm not feeling good about this week.
