@Darealtwo1 come in here and celebrate with us brehs. Your eskimo brother is finally gonna get his first start. I hope you don't watch it with your girl. You don't want to see the her going through flashbacks of Teddy "TakeYourGirl"Water
After the first 2 scores, I thought the game was over but Zimmer made some nice adjustments on Defense and Teddy showed us a glimpse on what he can do.
I thought the defense really played well outside of the first 2 Saints drives. They can't stop the run though which is scary. Robinson and Thomas were getting 3-5 yards past the line of scrimmage before getting hit. The pass defense was solid. Not too many open guys and the cornerbacks were aggressive. I loved seeing all the blitzing Zimmer was doing. Having Munnerlyn coming off the edge on 3 straight 3rd down plays was nice to see. Obviously that bullshyt unnecessary roughness call changed the game. We would have gotten the ball back in good field position with all the momentum. No luck in N.O.
Teddy played really well, all things considered. No running game, his #1 tight end out with an injury, a Left Tackle who suddenly can't block anyone and he still made some big plays. The Saints blitzed non-stop and Teddy was able to stand in there and make plays. He looked great with people in his face and he didn't get rattled at all. He scrambled when he had too and never really took a big hit so it's nice to see him not scared to take off but he isn't gonna be out there running around for the fukk of it.
For everyone upset about CP84 usage, I don't know if it is really gonna get better without AP. He's the only guy on our offense that scares other teams so I'm sure he has extra players watching him each play. We should be able to stretch the field better with Teddy which in turn, hopefully opens up room for Patterson.
