To be fair...

Jim has a point because most of the people who we consider great, the culture at some point tried to emulate them or were apart of a milestone

From Fab(not even a big fan) to Meth to E-40 and so on..mind you these people are probably in the ranges where people would want to put pusha..

I fukks wit Pusha, but homeboy has never moved the culture..

Which is Jim's point

Bingo My Boy & That’s Where it Gets Tricky

It’s a prerequisite to be nice have great albums when you’re talking about the best ever but they also go a step further

Rakim was image
Kane was image
Run DMC was image
Ice-T was image
Cube was image
NWA was image
PE was image

Etc

The reason certain rap fans feel slighted when they’re lyrical miracle favorites get slighted is because socially they held no weight so then they act like lyrics should be enough when it never was

Cause hip hop fans only ones who will say an album is classic when he had no impact on hip hop outside of a small fanbase. Dudes talking bout Pusha has a classic album :lolbron:
:what:

This is LITERALLY all Rock music and Jazz does. The influence is not on the fans, they just enjoy the records. It’s the artists that these albums resonate with and influence their own great works

Pusha T never put out a bad album and has been nice for over 20 years. I don’t know where I rank him though.

Pusha t the only rapper with "classic" albums that somehow have no classic songs. Ask a pusha t fan to name the classic songs from those albums that hit the culture and it's crickets

Pusha was part of Grindin. How has he never moved the culture?

Pusha made the two most popular rappers lean back, at different times, and with what seemed minimal effort from him. How has he never moved the culture?

It's perfectly fine not to have him in your top 50, but saying he has never moved the culture is not reflective of truth.

And I'm a grown ass man dawg, I don't care about shyt like "men didn't want to dress like him, and bytches didn't want to fukk him" that's birdbrain shyt

What classic songs as a solo artist has he put out that would be deemed classic..? I love clipse as a group but pusha as a solo, please share

You nikkas is fakkits. You argue like women.

"Pusha has never moved the culture"

I responded with instances which prove that statement is not reflective of truth

Fakkit come in moving goalposts talking bout "which classic songs as a solo". what the fukk are you talking about?

I'm talking about a rapper and their ability to make songs the culture finds classic. A clear measure of greatness. What are they?

The assertion I contested was that he never moved the culture. Verifiably false.

You trying to maneuver like a hoe and asking about solo songs won't change the fact that assertion is verifiably false. At no point did I discuss/contest or remark on "ability to make songs the culture finds classic". The "culture" being a vague/non-tangible and arbitrary means of measure just makes your shyt even more laughable.

I won't even delve into the idiotic way of dismissing his body of work as part of an ensemble and or features as if they're not part of his catalog and/or should not be accounted for when speaking on ability to make songs and/or classics - as if music/song crafting isn't a collaborative effort.

Like I said, you nikkas discuss things like hoes. No more random goalpost moving and maneuvering fakkit. I already said it's perfectly fine not to have him top50 - that's not something I contested.
