Gibbs is not the first rapper to work with one producer on an album. Madlib worked with DOOM for the Madvillainy album more than 10 years ago. 9th Wonder, Alchemist, Ski Beatz also are known for producing an artist whole album.

Agree sort of like how pop smoke laid the blueprint for posthumous albums and Drakes scorpion with the double album (in hiphop)
I hope it has a sound and feel that's still Madlib but feels like it's for Push specifically. And no short album please lol.

I do think there is an argument to be made though that Gibbs helped re-popularize the idea for a new generation. Covert Coup, Albert Einstein, Pilot Talk 1 and 2, Murs and 9th’s early 2010’s albums, and others all dropped before Piñata.
But there was something about piñata being a bigger level indie Releases that I think got a lot of people’s attention that may not have been on top
Of those other releases.
Gibbs also is not a rapper that fit the stereotype of the underground ember linking up with one producer. I think he broke some stereotypes on what kind of emcee in the modern era would work with one producer.
I could be wrong. And I’m not saying I’m right. But I think it’s a possibility.
