No, a big part of the gameplay was NOT to use cover. You only used cover to simply reload or get health but you didn't use cover in the same way you use cover in other games where using cover actually was a mechanic and not simply something there to hide behind. There wasn't any blindfire behind cover or anything. You simply used the games geometry to your liking.
DId you skip wiki's post?
But they're third person shooters. What the hell is this "cinematic" crap you're adding to the game?? A third person shooter is a third person shooter is a third person shooter. You're trying to make up what is/isn't a third person shooter to build up your wack point to prop up a merely great game(max payne.) When people talk about games that revolutionized third person shooters, nobody is going to think of Max Payne first and foremost. Let's stop being obtuse breh. You just mad that your point is weak.

@ MP started cinematic shooters.

Xbots say the darndest things.
You thought putting "cinematic" behind it would make your point stronger. First time I've ever even heard of the term cinematic being affixed to that game. What makes it cinematic again?? Cutscenes?? If that's the case than hundreds of games had cutscenes before Max Payne such as Oni
.
I could bet you damn well had this been a Tomb Raider thread you'd be calling the OG TR a cinematic third person shooter.

as hell right now
Impossible to talk to??

Talk to Wikipedia then, I'm not the one who made Winback, a cover shooter before Max Payne which you are desperately trying to prop up for the obvious reason that it was developed by a dev that's now making an XB1 exclusive.
@itsyoung!!

Just stop posting breh, you're embarrassing yourself.
