Yea, everybody makes mistakes & people still deserve happiness. But, baggage is real Its not fair to expect someone with none to take on all of your shyt. Let him/her find someone on the same wavelength. Single mothers & widows should seek out single fathers & widowers. Do the Brady Bunch thing. Yall understand each others' situation better anyway.

I know but this thread is about a special topic...its not just about the kids...its abt these men seeing things and situations from a different perspective....

Depends on what she does for a living and how much family support she has. She'd have to be making some serious bank for me to consider jumping into that situation...

...and it's not because I'd want to mooch off of her either.

It's that I'm young, educated, and take fairly good care of myself. If I'm to be with someone long-term and love them, I'd want to experience the joys/surprises of life as a couple...organically...from start to finish. I don't want to skip the important episodes in the Emmy-nominated series that is my LIFE and just start and start at season 3.

I couldn't get with a chick that has kids (regardless of her story) because at the end of the day, you're jumping into a situation with huge responsibilities off the bat. In this situation, you're still getting to know the chick and BAM, you already have to deal with TWO children. There's no gradual build-up. You're just there...opting to waste your potential with used goods (Sorry). I want to experience the beauty and privacy of a single relationship before I decided "Okay...we've had our fun. Let's have kids..."

...and if I have kids, I want them to be MY legacy. fukk if I'm selfish but it's not like I'm ever going to be HURTING to have kids. There's no biological clock for me...so if I'm going to have them, who's to fault me for wanting them to be from MY DNA...with MY features...and MY awesome genetics & personality qualities....with the names that I decided to give them?

I don't want to play someone else's saved game with THEIR create-a-player if I don't have to.

It really depends on the chick and if she's high quality. When you wife chicks who already has kids, more than likely you will never be the most important thing in her life and that's a no-no when it comes to marriage.

Contrary to popular belief, we do see things and situations from different perspectives, but that doesn't mean men should throw their expectations in the bushes just because they meet a woman who may be exceptional in other areas. If all of a sudden men across the board said yes, would it make them all of a sudden more sympathetic and understanding?


By the way, I probably would consider it, if the child were like 1 or 2 or young enough that the child didn't all ready have an attachment to their biological father.

I know ppl see things from a different perspective but theres nothing wrong with taking chances, as long as as long as its not life threatening or and it won't compromise other things in your life.
