Lotta talk this postseason crowned him as if he was already that dude. All I'll say is, as much as the regular season showed his growth as a Y2 quarterback, the playoffs showed just how far he needs to go.
Which isn't an indictment because again he's only played two years. My only issue is how people spoke about him as if he already belongs in the elite category. As much as Darnold throws 50/50 passes, he's simply a more consistent decision maker than Maye is at this stage, and falt out better.
Maye has a bright future. He's not That Guy yet.
