with the words, if we're talking PURE lyricism, Kendrick is definitely HEAD and shoulders above wale, ab soul and speciallY JOE TRASHASS
Joey is not a lyricist, he rhymes for the sake of it, he ain't saying shyt, NOTHING. Don't underrate kendrick because hes an artist, when he has to be lyrical;, hes way more lyrical than 80% of the artists you mentioned.
and dude is right, ab soul is wack, hes trying too hard to have bars but all of them are CORNY
Kendrick is definitely one of gthez best lyricists of the last few years, just because he has the perfect balance and drops music for everybody (club bangers, ignorant music, west coast music, storytelling songs, lyrical songs) doesn't mean he ain't the best lyrically. He doesn't always have to drop lyrical songs because he has different fans, he has to drop music for everybody

Kendrick is def not an elite lyricist. hes above average and at time great but he way overrated when it comes to lyricism. RA wasnt lying.
if we're talking from a pure lyrical standpoint kendrick is most definitely the best of his class and I don't even fukk with him like that. And his class would be Wale, krit, ab soul, cole, and all these other underground cats etc

I swear that Control verse is the most overrated thing in hip hop history.
yea i know those tracks, I've been a Kendrick fan since Overly Dedicated...but I'm just trying to point out what impresses me more about K Dot and I'm not going into the lyrical debate right now.
