No troll, but was Solar really his gay lover? I remember a lot of crazy information and allegations coming out after he died but I stopped paying attention. Never knew if anything was cleared up.

I don't know who Solar is, but I will look up more info. Hopefully other people here can give more information about his part in Guru's life, and possible death. Has Solar said anything on the anniversary? Did anyone ask him?

RIP to GURU man. When me and my people were running around in the street he was that one dude whose music we could always listen to for guidance. Thank you for that.

Dudes talking about him on some gay shyt. If that's your thing then get in where you fit in but everything I've heard about that dude was he was straight. All the other stuff is just he say she say. Stop speaking on the dead based on some bullshyt you heard on the internet and let him rest in peace.

That's true, except in this case I think it's like Luther Vandross (Rest in Peace) or Kenny Greene (Rest in Peace, too) being gay. If Guru was gay, it doesn't take away from his talents or the classic music he left us with, it's just another facet of who he is which shouldn't be hidden. That goes double if that hidden part of himself is part of why he passed away (like in Kenny's case). If Guru was being ill treated by someone and couldn't speak out on it or break out of it because of the stigma attached to his relationship, then that needs to come forth so that others don't suffer the same fate.

That's fukked up, breh. Being sexually assaulted doesn't make you gay. (Edit: .. doesn't automatically make you gay. Obviously they are people who are so traumatized and confused by being sexually assaulted that they become gay or lesbian or whatever. Which is only funny in women's cases where it's sexual assault by men which turns them lesbian Or Tyler Perry's case where he was sexually assaulted by a neighbor woman and now he's gay. But Tupac was straight.)
