Theres been a few decent songs but theres no movement, mid 90s rock was the last great rock movement where every group had hits and was selling records...It died off when boy bands starting taking off in the late 90s...
True true.

People say rap fell off and lost its identity but rock fell off even harder. Even that mostly horrible nu metal wave is better than the last 10 years of rock. I mean what great bands and identity has happened the last while? A few shytty indie rock bands :francis:

Nickleback the drake of rock music :heh:

I cant remember the last time i heard a new band that had me :ohhh:

That analogy is spot on. Remember when I got into rock music back in the day, another reason why 1990s>>>>*

Haven't cared for new rock music since the screamo phase, and even that was something I was forced. Mad heads swore by MCR but it came off as generic and too MTV. I don't even know of any new rock bands that are worth mentioning, I'm too focused on Chillwave and hip-hop. Maybe it's because I just don't care about new music, haha.

Who is this white man? More proof that 80% of the coli either whites or suburban c00ns.
Nah, if you came up during the 90's and even slightly fukked with MTV then you were exposed to at least some of this shyt. Didn't necessarily meant you fukked with it. Just like a redneck might not fukk with black music, but knows who MJ is. Back then, they'd drop some shyt like this after dropping some Boot Camp Click or Brand Puba.

Can't speak for anyone else. But I'm from one of the worst hoods in Detroit. My woman is black, my kids are black, And my experience with life is largely shaped by me being black. That never stopped me for recognizing and enjoying good music from any genre though.
Grunge was the shyt. That was when cacs was cacs. I don't know wtf these cacs is doing now. The techno ain't even the same as it was back in the day, shyt is more gay. Which back in the 90's I didn't think was possible.
