I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
My town is a lucky town; we got to see Cena and Truth for one final time on Friday. :francis: Won't lie - I'm legit bummed out about this.

Outside of his skits with Brock (who he actually struck up a somewhat friendship with backstage IRL) or the Judgement (where Priest and Finn were fighting for their life trying not to break character), I think this may have been my favorite Truth moment, in recent times.

Valhalla getting casually eliminated after Truth tried to take her spot is hilarious.

This is a canary in the coal mine moment. I know they won't do it but TKO would just be wise to say "we fukked up" and offer him a backstage role.

But the worst is yet to come.

It's baffling that he wasn't offered some sort of promo/character coach or some sort of PR/Community outreach position given how over he's kept himself with the WWE fans for 15 years. There's a lot of people on the roster that could learn from him on how to connect his fans.

:whew: Mannnn like getting thrown out of the club but sneaking back in

Like American Dad getting cancelled by TBS and FOX bringing it back because 20th Century always owned it. :wow:

But this is bullshyt. I wanted to believe it was a joke, I really did. This is legitimately the most shocking release I've ever seen (call it what you want, they're letting him go and it's not even like they couldn't come to an agreement, they're just telling him he's gone). People talk shyt about Truth all the time on here, but he's one of the most consistently entertaining people on the roster, a comedic genius, and apparently, an all-around good guy. Kept himself in shape all these years, able to work with literally anybody on the roster, still moving merchandise based on the Ron Cena shirt. He's solely responsible for a lot of hilarious WWE moments in the last fifteen years ("You gonna get got," "I don't even know if that's PG," "You're not even in the match," making Brock laugh, the hot tag in the men's Rumble and then entering the women's Rumble).

One thing about Truth is that he found his niche and made it work for years. He stayed committed to his bits no matter how ridiculous they were, because that's the point of comedy. If you believe in it, the audience will. Nobody, literally nobody, should be trying to make sense of this or justify it. It's bullshyt, arguably the most boneheaded decision made by the company in a long time.
