Big bro put me on them when I was still a child...already knew they were TBE since way back when.

Up until recently, maybe the last two years, I revisited their catalog after so long...I rekindled an old flame brehs.
Found newer meanings, patterns, musical structures in so many songs, its crazy.

My answer changes frequently, but now that I'm a bit older I feel that In Rainbows is my favorite LP.
Amazing, amazing music, from beginning to end.

Too fukking good...they mastered this music shyt

Personally, In Rainbows feels like the closing chapter of their legacy...now they're doing whatever they wish.
(even though that's been their case for the most part)

This luxury comes with experience and age. They're experimenting more (is that even possible, haha),
not forcing creativity or change, they're simply creating...and they're STILL pushing the envelope and working.

Video quality & choreography followed with Thom's honest and insane writing capabilities...pure art brehs

"Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" came out last year, has a few dope tracks...what did you guys think of it?

I know this is trolling but I honestly don't get the hype over this group

they have great songs but people act like they're levels above the rest
1) Then how am I trolling? :mjlol:

2) Radiohead has a few really GOOD songs...For example, High and Dry, Creep, Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Fadeout, No Surprises, All I Need, Climbing Up The Walls...

But their discography is not filled with such high quality songs...Sometimes they sound like they are trying too hard...

3) I listened to some of the songs posted in this thread, and they just sound like random electronic sounds...:mjlol:

Apologies if it was wrong

They are a very talented band, some of their music is amazing to listen to and definitely on the same level as say a Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. I wouldn't put them in my personal top 10, but I can see why others do.

Listen to Creep. Their first album Pablo Honey is ok (Creep is in it) personally its not that great but def worth a listen or two imo, but if it gets too boring just jump into their sophmore The Bends. Keep listening chronologically from their on breh

i like hail to the thief too...the gloaming, backdrifts, sail to the moon, a wolf at the door, where i end and you begin, we suck young blood, myxomatosis are all :wow:

i would rank their albums like this:

Kid A
OK Computer
Amnesiac
Hail To The Thief
The Bends
In Rainbows

i haven't listened to the last one they came out with, and i pretend Pablo Honey doesn't exist
Pablo Honey aint that bad :beli::martin:

Big on Radiohead since my man told me about OK Comp back in the day. They basically changed the sound of indie rock. So many groups owe their sound to them particularly Coldplay and groups that have ripped off Coldplay (Train, Snow Patrol, etc).

To this day I have never hear Amnesiac. I've hear every other album though. King of Limbs and Pablo Honey are my least favorite. Maybe there are on the decline but they had a hell of a run. Didn't like The Eraser like many of you and haven't heard Atoms For Peace yet.

My favs:
Jigsaw Falling Into Place
There There
Black Star
Reckoner
All I Need
Everything In It's Right Place
House of Cards
Bullet Proof
Subterranean Homesick Alien

I genuinely want to know why people keep saying coldplay was heavily influenced by radiohead, cause I dont hear it at all. Besides shiver
