This shyt is fire. I went to the show Wednesday and it was amazing to see all the gods do their thing. God bless Nas too for giving helping birth to the renaissance of vintage hip hop. Props to the fans who stream the music to let the artists know that there still a demand for this kind of music.

Flames, on first listen rank this behind the two Cuban Linxes, and maybe slightly behind Shaolin vs Wu. Not counting Ironman and Wu-Massacre as semi-Rae albums.
A lot of talk about the Nas verse, but was posting with @Ziggiy recently about Nas NEVER giving Wu-Tang anything less than stellar verses. He elevates, because people like Rae are elite. A lot of comparisons to the CLIPSE verse, which kind of makes sense - but as much as I fukks with them and that album...Rae is a higher level of Mc than Push and Malice, so Nas gives him a higher level verse
A Wu album without Rza will never sound right to me, and a Rae album without Cappadonna is also incomplete - but those are nitpicks. I'm too in love/obsessed with the best of the Wu albums to rate some of their follow-ups fairly

I rank those brehs high, check my post record, but not with the elitists
Anyway, on second listen - I do think some of the beats are just OK, but the album and especially Rae are consistent enough to make up for it.

Best album sinc shaolin vs wu , maybe since cuban 2.
Not better than cl 2. Immob has stringer great songs but a chunk of weak. Not so much weak on this and it starts strong but well see how it sticks.
Way better than the wild and fila. Shaolin vs wu status. My custom immob/lex diamond > but these guys 50+ so not fair. Good project. Better than i expected.

Started off solid with production and then the skits were unnecessary. I was at the NJ show last night, so I was hyped to hear it on my drive back home. I’d give it a 6
