Good album nothing wrong with the beats everything can't sound like it's 96 lol just move on

I think the precise problem is that these beats DO sound like they're from 96. And not the good 96 either. A lot of these beats just sound generic and cheap. Rae coulda went to YouTube and found 15 better beats in 30 minutes. Prolly pay no more than 2k for em. The production on Wu Tang forever sounds more polished and current than the beats on this album.

Well… wu tang forever was defacto major release of louds existance. It got proper engineering.

This is an indy album. With ai videos. no promo. And an in house team. I gather they chinced. Dont think it would have changed it much except give some depth tho. Im not huge fan of the production myself on a base level, mix or not. Just not much going on. Immobilarity had more impactful beats imo.

Mixing standards have dropped in ughh for sometime tho so im used to it. Youre not getting top notch mixes on albums like these from legacy artists most the time unless tbey on production. Noones putting the care the rza did because it costs.
