Despite what you choose to do in the situation or what any man chooses to do in such said situation, I feel for the babies involved. :wow:

Every child deserves loving parents whether they are biological or not.

Shyt i say step to shorty, let her know you have the best interest of her and the baby at mind but you aint no replacement daddy, she gone have to stay on ol' boy about the baby cause this aint no "fucc that nikka i found me a real man to take care of me and my baby" shyt. After that just go by feel, if ol' boy dont wanna man up and you got it in you to take up his slack then I commend you, you're a bigger man than most but you damn sure dont have to

The reason I feel that I'm gonna ultimately fall back is twofold:

1) If we get super serious, having son pop up all the time to see his kid (if he decides to take that route) would bother me. Mainly cuz I didn't even like dude prior to me knowing the girl (we all went to school together)

2) If we get serious, I assume that role, she alienates the father to the point of him basically saying "fukk it", and then it doesn't work with us for whatever reason.... Im gonna feel like I did that child a TRUE disservice.

then you have your answer

it is not being selfish on your part to not want to deal with that situation

i have dated single moms and it was ok but shyt is not fair to me because i have to compromise because of the child and they didnt because i dont have any

but single moms keep mad candy in the crib so that is a plus:russ:

problem with single moms they really can't go no where..

i travel alot, so if i ask a broad do u want to drive down to vegas, she be like ummm i don't know if i can go cause of the kid.. and vegas is only 6 hours drive for me..

remember if u mess with a single mom u have to compromise because of the kid(s), and that shyt is a strain when u don't have any..

This is a good point. This is probably the main reason because most times I just want to be left alone when my child is not with me; sleep in late, pee without an audience, watch unanimated televison shows or just sit and be quiet. There have been times my daughter went away for the weekend and I just sit on the sofa in complete silence...for hours.
