True. I say that the number 1 overall pick should always be shopped. It's too valuable of an asset not to plus one guy isn't really making or breaking a championship team that's picking #1 already 9 times out of 10 but there's that 1 time he is and I think that's the 1 time it is worth trading for.My problem with this line of thinking is that there is no "next sure thing" really. It's all subjective. I'd even say it's almost always worth it to trade down from #1 overall provided you get at least another future first rounder.
