My problem with this line of thinking is that there is no "next sure thing" really. It's all subjective. I'd even say it's almost always worth it to trade down from #1 overall provided you get at least another future first rounder.
True. I say that the number 1 overall pick should always be shopped. It's too valuable of an asset not to plus one guy isn't really making or breaking a championship team that's picking #1 already 9 times out of 10 but there's that 1 time he is and I think that's the 1 time it is worth trading for.

Everybody saying. The Titans raped the Rams, but I bet half those picks they got end up being busts. If the Rams hit on the qb they won.

Draft picks are only as valuable as your GM... A shytty GM with a bunch of picks doesn't mean much.
This is true, but it's kinda a given. That's like saying, money is only as valuable as the spender. I mean yeah it's true, but in either case more picks/money is better than less picks/less money

Only worse trades I can think of off the top are the Hershel Walker and Ricky Williams ones. Wentz and Geoff are gonna be Blaine Gabbert status in a few years :mjlol:
