Why exactly should we have gave up a valuable 1st rounder to the Lakers (who already got a top 5 pick) for a dude that might get us to the second round at best and not re-sign with us?? These young dudes are better off learning on their own.
Not only that those rumors were shot down in PHX quickly only LA media and beat writers rode that shyt to make it look like LA might get another 1st round pick.
Because all PHX would have been giving up was a mid-first, a guy who barely plays and a bum for a player who fits perfectly with what they do. They'd still have up to three first round picks too.
